Release 16 (R15) - October 2021
What's Important in Release 16
Intuit Account Management
- The QuickBooks Company File uses the Intuit Account to connect to online services.
- With this update, Intuit is starting a process of compelling QuickBooks Company File Admin Users (Administrators) to sign into their Intuit Account if they have not done so recently.
- QuickBooks Company File Admin Users (Administrators) will need to sign into their Intuit Account on a regular basis going forward even if the Admin User account is not regularly used for day-to-day QuickBooks functions.
Bug fix to Corrupted Memorized Reports
- With this release, Intuit has reportedly fixed problems with corrupted memorized reports arising out of/in (or from) QuickBooks 2018 and after.
- Install the R16 update and verify installation from the F2 Production Information window. Rebuild your QuickBooks Company Data File (always Backup prior to Rebuilding Your Data). Then Run prior corrupted reports (which should be repaired).
- Note: The author has not tested this reported ‘bug fix’.
