Female-led, cloud accounting app businest® was selected as a finalist in the best digital start-up category at this year's 23rd annual AMY Awards on July 7.
The AMY Awards, which recognize digital brilliance across the country and reflect high caliber digital work produced by some of Australia’s brightest and most innovative individuals, attracted more than 300 entries. The awards are presented by ADMA, AIMIA and the Australian digital industry.
According to research by the federal government, 87 percent of small businesses in Australia suffer from cash flow and working capital deficiencies. Most rely solely on credit cards and personal savings to fund their start-up and ongoing operations. And of the small percentage who apply for secured or unsecured lending, 45 percent are unsuccessful at securing the money they need to survive and grow.
"Businest® was created to cure the number one source of pain for small business owners – lack of cash flow," says founder and managing director Rhondalynn Korolak.
Businest® uses artificial intelligence to examine the financial statements of a business and deliver custom tailored coaching and multi-media training to show the owner how to boost the bottom line and cash flow quickly, easily and cost effectively.
Businest® can be set up in under eight minutes and is simple enough for a layperson (with no financial background) to use. "It's like a mini-MBA in business but all insights and advice are specific to your numbers, your challenges and your unique opportunities," Korolak says.
Accountants, bookkeepers, coaches and franchisors also use businest® to help anticipate problems before they occur and to provide tangible strategies across sales, marketing, finance, operations and leadership, to help their small business clients grow safely and profitably.
Where competitive products only diagnose cash flow problems – businest® fixes them.
Businest® integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks Online, Xero, MYOB Account Right Live so no manual data entry is required.
In 2016, businest® was named "The App You SHOULD Be Using at Accountex" in Las Vegas. It also was named one of the Top 10 small business apps in the world by Intuit QuickBooks in Silicon Valley. Businest® was the only Australian owned app to compete in both global awards.
