Female-led, cloud accounting app businest® was selected as a finalist in the best digital start-up category at this year's 23rd annual AMY Awards on July 7.
The AMY Awards, which recognize digital brilliance across the country and reflect high caliber digital work produced by some of Australia’s brightest and most innovative individuals, attracted more than 300 entries. The awards are presented by ADMA, AIMIA and the Australian digital industry.
According to research by the federal government, 87 percent of small businesses in Australia suffer from cash flow and working capital deficiencies. Most rely solely on credit cards and personal savings to fund their start-up and ongoing operations. And of the small percentage who apply for secured or unsecured lending, 45 percent are unsuccessful at securing the money they need to survive and grow.
