While at Scaling New Heights in June, a few ProAdvisors asked me about migrating from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online. The questions they posed differed significantly.
Some ProAdvisors asked if I was doing migrations, and my answer was, "No, I am not."
Other ProAdvisors asked if I had a list of best practices for migrating from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online or a preferred tool or solution.
Other ProAdvisors wanted to tell me either their 'horror' stories or their 'painless' migrating experiences.
All of this made me think that perhaps a growing number of you are having either great experiences or not-so-great experiences when migrating from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
I am asking that you use our new ProAdvisor Migration Story Survey to tell our readers about your migration experiences. You can tell us about your 'best' migration, worst migration, or both.
We don't want to go back eons so that we will limit these stories from July 2022 to now.
I may write one or an entire series of articles, depending on the number of submissions.
While you must provide us with your name and email, you can have your story (stories) reported under only your initials.
So, if you have a migration story to share, head over to this short survey.
