“It’s incredible that we’ve experienced such exciting growth in our first year in the U.K.”, says David Barrett, CEO and founder of Expensify. “We set our sights on adding offices worldwide, and landing in the U.K. was an obvious first choice. The U.K.’s innovation in accounting and technology was a huge draw for us, and we knew that London was a perfect fit for our first move into global expansion. We’re really excited to continue the momentum in the years to come.”
Expensify opened its doors in London in February 2016, just in time for Xerocon London, one of the top cloud accounting conference in the U.K. The leading receipt and expense reporting app since has announced a global strategic partnership with Xero, cementing Expensify as its preferred expense management tool.
During the Innovate Finance Global Summit in London, Expensify also was been named a “Top 10 Startup to Watch” by FinTech Times.
