Back when QuickBooks Desktop 2024 was released, we told you about a number of new or significantly enhanced reports that are available within the US and Canadian versions of QuickBooks 2024. We did, however, note that some of the reports we illustrated came from pre-release versions and that your reports may appear different in the final release product versions.
One of the reports that was available in pre-release versions that didn’t make it into the initial release was a highly comprehensive inventory status report that was sometimes referred to as a ‘Master Inventory’ report because it was inclusive of several of the various columns that previously required multiple reports to obtain.
The report is actually a variation of the Inventory Stock Status by Lot Number Report and is now available in the R3 Update for QuickBooks Enterprise v24 with Advanced Inventory features including Lot Tracking activated.

To build the report reflected above you need to select the Site, Bin, Unit-of-measure, Category and For Assemblies columns in addition to all the standard columns normally appearing on an Inventory Stock Status by Lot Number Report. You also need to filter the report by Item Type and select the option ‘Hide Zero Quantity-on-hand’.
If you take the time to build this report, you may find a variety of options that make it even more beneficial to your specific requirements. Please share with our readers by posting the details of your modifications in the Comments to this article (below).
