Until the recent release of Acumatica 2025R1, Project Quotes couldn't be completed using the Acumatica Mobile App. But now, when users are running Acumatica ERP 2025R1, the Acumatica Mobile App includes a new Project Quotes screen.
A project quote in Acumatica ERP is used to estimate the revenue and costs of a potential Project. If the customer agrees to the terms of the quote, the Project Quote can create the Project.

"New" Mobile App 'Project Quotes' Capabilities
Thanks to the 2025R1 release, users can not only produce Project Quotes, but accomplish a lot more quote and project related activities including:
- Create a Project Quote from scratch
- Create a Project Quote based on an opportunity*
- Select a project template in a Project Quote
- Edit Project Quotes
- Convert Project Quotes to Projects
- Approve Project Quotes on the Mobile App Approvals screen**
The screenshot to the right shows a Project Quote created in the Acumatica mobile app based on an opportunity. The Project Quote is now ready to be converted into a Project.
There are a couple of known limitations associated with the Acumatica Mobile App Project Quotes:
*- An Acumatica mobile app user cannot create a project quote based on an opportunity if the opportunity includes required user-defined fields. In such cases, the user must use the web version of Acumatica to create a project quote from an opportunity containing required user-defined fields.
** - To convert a Project Quote into a Project using the Acumatica mobile app, the Approval Workflow feature must be configured, and an approval map must exist for project quotes.
