Bill Pay powered by Melio has been discontinued for QuickBooks Online users as of May 21st.
As part of Intuit's discontinuation of Bill Pay powered by Melio in QuickBooks Online, Intuit has migrated over your vendor information (such as business name, address, and payment wallet) as well as your payment history into your QuickBooks account. For information on where this data is resident within QuickBooks, click here and look under “What information from Melio did you move over to QuickBooks and where do I find it.”
If you had any recurring or future payments scheduled via Bill Pay powered by Melio, Melio will pay those through June 18, 2024; however, all recurring and any future payments scheduled, after June 18th will be cancelled.
So what are your alternatives, you have three of them:
You can create a personal Melio account using the Melio Purple third-party app that integrates with QuickBooks, any personal account operating under the Melio Purple App is not impacted by Intuit's recent discontinuation. You will be able to use that App, outside but connected to, QuickBooks for Bill Payments. You won't find them in the QuickBooks App store any more, but you can still find Melio at their website Here.
Your second option is sign-up for Intuit's own QuickBooks Bill Pay which is now integrated into QuickBooks Online. You can then not only pay bills, but schedule payments and create recurring payments within QuickBooks based upon your subscription provisions. To learn more about this option, click Here.
