Intuit has announced that it is laying off approximately 10% of its staff, or 1,800 employees.
According to reports, the downsizing is to reposition jobs to better leverage artificial intelligence.
More than 1,000 of the layoffs will impact "underperforming" employees who are not meeting expectations. Additionally, 10% of the executives and all workers/job roles in Edmonton, Canada and Boise, ID will be released.
My questions to you:
How will this impact your relationship with Intuit?
Do you feel the increased focus on Ai will cause Intuit to become more of a competitor than partner?
We wish those who are impacted by this the best of luck in their future endeavors.
