There is some new exciting stuff coming for all of you QuickBooks Time users. It is now being rolled out to QuickBooks Online Premium and Elite Payroll users who use QuickBooks Time.
CHECK OUT this video to learn more.
What’s New
There is now a Time option on the left-hand navigation menu that launches QuickBooks Time directly inside of your QuickBooks Online.
It no longer launches over to a new browser tab.
What can you do?
There are multiple different tabs available similar to payroll where you can manage all things related to time.
Here are some of the tabs available in the new QuickBooks Time UI:
Overview – There is a task list very similar to Payroll
Manage Time Entries – You can approve and manage time directly inside the time tab
Time Team – Track time for the team
Assignments – Map assignments to team members, this is super convenient.
Time off – Manage time off for team
Time reports – Various reports available
Switching back to Classic View
There is an option to go back to the Classic View, if you prefer. You just click the “Go to classic QuickBooks Time” button and it will launch you to the time browser.
It is nice now because everything is in QuickBooks Online, so you don’t have to leave.
I think this is the start of several changes that are coming to us from QuickBooks Time so if you are somebody who utilizes that feature, stay tuned.
