We published the official announcement of this new App last week, but we wanted to give you some more details to get you going if you are using QuickBooks Online Advanced and/or DocuSign already. Right now, during this introductory period, existing DocuSign customers can connect for free to their QuickBooks Online Advanced subscription. Current QuickBooks Online Advanced customers without a DocuSign account can sign up at present and receive 25% off the first year of any DocuSign eSignature annual web plan. DocuSign offers a variety of e-signature plans that include different levels of premium features; such as signature requests, custom branding, signer authentication, and more, pricing will vary accordingly.

Using DocuSign eSignature with QuickBooks Online Advanced

With the DocuSign eSignature Connector for QuickBooks App installed you'll be able to send an Estimate out for electronic signature directly from QuickBooks Online Advanced. You can add a digital payment tag or agreement action to your documents, so you can get paid as soon as you collect a digital signature allowing you to streamline your quote to cash workflow. Just follow these simple steps:

  • Sign-in to QuickBooks Online Advanced as an Admin, search for DocuSign eSignature Connector in the App Store and select “Get app now”.
  • Use your DocuSign credentials to sign in to QBO-Advanced. If you do not have a DocuSign account, you will be prompted to create a new account.
  • Once connected, select "Save and send with DocuSign" on the estimate page.
  • Specify Signers and Signing Order as needed to speed up the process.
  • Verify the 'fields' and where you need a signature, initial, or date and select “Send”.
  • Your recipient/signers can review the document(s), adopt a signature, and complete the signing process without even having a DocuSign account.
