There have been so many QuickBooks Online releases that My 10 Favorite Apps had to go on hold for a bit…but they are back in full force! Remember my Top 10 Apps are in no particular order, they simply represent the Apps our firm LOVES!
LizAppFavorites
And, Hubdoc is still at the TOP of so many QuickBooks Online users' favorite Apps list, as well as mine! As new apps continue to be added daily to the Intuit library, Hubdoc remains a favorite. The reason there is so much love about Hubdoc is they are practical, easy and versatile.
If you’re not already familiar with Hubdoc, then allow me to first explain that they are a Document Hub with the glorious ability to “fetch” documents automatically. This is the distinguishing difference between Hubdoc and many others.
Not only can you securely store unlimited documents, and publish them to a desired destination, Hubdoc also automatically collects bank, credit card, phone and other similar statements and bills. This substantially cuts down on time spent otherwise manually retrieving these documents.
Hubdoc’s fetching ability is why they have been, and will remain on my Top 10 QBO App list! As technology grows, Hubdoc continues to develop more and better ways to help accountants and bookkeepers reduce the amount of time spent locating, sharing and using documents.

So now that you are as big a fan of Hubdoc as I am, let me toss in the bonus....
Automate workflow using Hubdoc, QBO and BillPay powered by Bill.com
Once your documents have been collected through Hubdoc's automated connections or manual upload, they can be published to QuickBooks Online. If the published document is a bill then use QBO's Online BillPay powered by Bill.com integration to create an automated payment workflow.

It's so easy, just:

- If the published transaction was a bill then use QBO's Online BillPay to create an online bill payment from inside QBO (via Bill.com).

Hubdoc is mobile ready which means you can access it from your tablet or smart-phone (Apple or Android) as well as your desktop (or laptop).
Pushing less paper saves time and space. Converting paper into useful digital information creates an audit trail and reduces energy spent on data entry.
I suggest you give Hubdoc a try and stop chasing bills and statements. In fact, you can get a free trial here.
Then, let Hubdoc automatically fetch your documents and convert the data into useful information which can be synced to your accounting software such as QBO. Once you give them a try, I think you will make them one of your top Apps as well.
