Last week, Sage Intacct rolled out enhancements to expand its global capabilities. The enhancements aim to revolutionize how businesses manage their financial operations and ensure they remain efficient, secure, and compliant in an ever-evolving landscape.
“Supporting our customers to focus on growing their business is fundamental to the technologies we are building,” said Dan Miller, EVP Financials and ERP Division at Sage. “AP Automation is a prime example of this, making us the first mid-market solution to offer this outside the US. Moreover, our ongoing global expansion and the achievement of significant certifications showcase our commitment to providing globally compliant, secure, and robust financial solutions that meet the diverse needs of businesses everywhere.”
Global AP Automation Rollout
Sage Intacct’s AP Automation tool is now available worldwide. This tool harnesses the power of AI to streamline accounts payable processes. It has already seen widespread adoption in the US. This tool cuts processing time in half and saves businesses over $100,000 annually by reducing manual data entry and improving accuracy.
In the US, businesses are already processing over 10,000 bills per month using this innovative tool, which utilizes AI to halve the time taken for accounts payable processes while saving organizations over $100,000 per year. AP Automation streamlines financial workflows by automatically creating draft bills from uploaded documents, promptly identifying issues such as duplicates, and significantly reducing data entry efforts and costs.

These customizable reports provide detailed views on order summaries, customer aging, and purchasing activities, empowering users to make data-driven decisions swiftly.

This functionality is available in Australia, the US, Canada, and for EA customers in the UK.
- Hold and Resume Contract Schedules allow users to simultaneously hold or resume billing, revenue, and expense schedules across multiple contracts, enhancing operational efficiency with a refined user interface. This updated interface features new filters like customer type, contract type, and transaction currency, all within a streamlined layout for improved navigation and action management. This feature is available for Australian, US, Canadian, South African and UK clients.
- Boosted insights in Revenue Recognition enable direct links between billing events and revenue recognition entries to source contract amounts. Currently available to Australian, US, Canadian, South African, and UK users, Sage Intacct’s Revenue Management now includes basic contract tracking as part of its subscription. This integration allows users to utilize the contract dimension in Order Entry transactions for detailed categorization, tracking, and analysis—enhancing visibility, accuracy, and forecasting capabilities without requiring a full Contracts application subscription.
