Xero has rolled out two enhancements (on a global basis). The first of these involves 'duplicate detection' for bills. With this new functionality, duplicate bills will be a thing of the past.

The new duplicate detection feature proactively alerts Xero users when potential duplicate bills are detected, regardless of how the bill was created in Xero, reducing the risk of overpaying suppliers and the time-consuming task of rectifying errors.
The second new functionality is designed to streamline bill review. The new "quick view" allows users to view and approve bills on one screen, streamlining workflow and saving valuable user time. With this new functionality, users will no longer need to click through individual bills or manage multiple tabs to review their bills.

Classic Invoicing Extended until February 2025.
Earlier this year, Xero announced "so long" to their classic invoicing in order to build more invoicing features users had been requesting. While Xero has already delivered more than 30 updates to their new Invoicing functionality, Xero has reconsidered their time frame for transitioning to the new invoicing during the upcoming holiday season.
As such, they are extending the classic invoicing feature through February 27, 2025, and will transition to the new Invoicing functionality shortly after that date.
