I have seen a lot of talk about this Business Network feature and had to go investigate. If you have been curious, check out this video to unveil some of the mystery.
What is QuickBooks Business Network?
The QuickBooks Business Network is a database that allows businesses to connect with both customers and vendors. This powerful network allows you to send invoices quickly to customers, receive bills from vendors directly in QuickBooks, and keep contact information up-to-date when changes are made in your connected accounts.
Here’s how you can use it
First, you will go to customers in QuickBooks Online and select add new customers. When you begin typing in the customer's name, you will see the Business Network directory dropdown and once you select the company you would like to add, you will see that their contact information is grayed out.
This is because they must accept your invitation in order to be added as a customer.
This is what the customer will see once they receive the invitation.

After they accept the invite, you can now see that the business network icon has a link attached to it.

Now once you send an invoice to your new customer added via Business Network, they will see it as a bill in their QuickBooks.

This is super-fast and easy to use
I do want to share a little nugget that as an accountant user right now we don't have full access to this functionality, it really does need to be business to business in order to be able to accept those invites and see those imported bills but that's coming soon. I will give you an update on that in the next couple of months.
