All versions of the QuickBooks 2018 Desktop product line have new keyboard command to copy and paste transactional rows of data. Even though we already had a way to copy and paste an entire row of transactional data, the process was clunky.

These new keyboard shortcuts streamline the process of working with transactions that involve repeating rows of data. The new feature works with Invoices, Estimates, Sales Receipts, Sales Orders, Credit Memos, Purchase Orders and Timesheets in QuickBooks.
The Ctrl+Alt+Y shortcut makes it easy to copy an entire row of data. Paste the entire row to a new line using the Ctrl+Alt+V shortcut.
You're probably wondering why we didn't get these shortcuts at the same time we received the row Copy & Paste feature? Who knows? But at least we have them now.
By the way, how many more shortcuts do you think we need? If you have ideas for new keyboard shortcuts, post them in your comments to this article.
