For those using QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll with any or all QuickBooks 2018 Desktop versions, there's a new visual Payroll Liability Reminder. This feature provides an easy-to-identify alert on the QuickBooks Desktop Home Page by displaying a badge on top of the Pay Liabilities Icon.

The new feature is intended to help Payroll users avoid liabilities by displaying the alert seven days prior to any Payroll Liability item deadline. The alerts in prior versions don’t give sufficient advanced notice because they're only displayed the day prior to the actual deadline.

There is no additional "set-up" or "options/preferences" to turn on. This new feature is based upon your existing set-up of Payroll Liability items.
