Have you notice a change in the functional capability of the QuickBooks Desktop Mobile App?
Users have reported, and I have personally experienced, the QBDT Mobile App's OCR (optical character reading) functionality NOT working for 'Receipts' or 'Bills' snapped for upload. This change has occurred sometime in the last 60 days.
If you or your clients use the QuickBooks Desktop Mobile App to capture 'receipts' or 'bills' and you've notice similar issues in which information like the 'Name', 'Amount', 'Date' and other major fields are no longer being captured from the snapped image when it is uploaded, and then synchronized with QuickBooks Desktop, please let us know by responding to the very brief survey below:
