As an accountant, do you scratch your head in frustration with the QuickBooks Online Accountant Subscription Invoice? The Accountant Invoice has been a challenge to understand if you are offering wholesale billing for QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Online Payroll.
It’s essential to capture all the client cost for accurate up to date client billing. QuickBooks Online has responded with an Accountant Invoicing update. Yay!
What is different about the new QBOA subscription Invoice? Previously, the subscriptions were listed by product summary on two separate invoices. Each month, we searched the two subscription Invoices to find the QBO subscriptions and the QBO Payroll subscriptions. It was a total pain!
Now, each client has a complete tier breakdown of listed subscription charges. Any prorates are explained. The total per client cost includes both QBO subscriptions and the QBO Payroll subscriptions.
Now accountants can view each client and see all the associated subscription costs! My direct QuickBooks Online subscription costs just got a LOT easier!
Liz Tip: My wholesale clients are on a fixed subscription plan. Each month I bill them at a standard fixed rate. Using the new QBOA Accountant Invoice and the 'by Client' detail list, I can easily verify my fixed subscription rate is correct.
