Recently the Firm of the Future published a Blog about a new service being rolled out by the QuickBooks Live team that is in addition to the regular bookkeeping services which QuickBooks Online users can purchase from QuickBooks Live. This new service is called 'Cleanup Service' and it is being billed on a pay-per-use format.

The purpose of this 'Cleanup Service' is to assist QuickBooks Online users with reconciling historical accounts up to the point of the previous year's tax filing, and categorizing historical transactions back to the user's most recent tax year filing.
Typically this service would be for QuickBooks Online users with QBO files older than 60 days who are not currently connected to an Accountant or ProAdvisor through QuickBooks Online Accountant and who are not already (or previously) signed-up for QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping services. In other words it's like an 'introductory service' that's geared toward cleaning-up a QBO file, but would hopefully then 'transition the QBO user into an ongoing subscription with QuickBooks Live for bookkeeping services.'
