As of January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008. This means that computers running on Windows 7 will be more vulnerable to security risks and viruses. To avoid these risks, Microsoft recommends upgrading to Windows 10.
Intuit takes the security of their customers' data a top priority. To help customers safeguard their personal information, like their Social Security number and bank account information, Intuit strongly recommends that desktop customers using Windows 7 upgrade to Windows 10 before the January 14, 2020 deadline.
QuickBooks products will remain ready to use once Intuit customers have upgraded.
