Xero HQ is a new way of allowing Xero Partners to work with their clients. Xero HQ is built upon Xero’s recognition that modern bookkeeping, accounting and business consulting professionals want to work differently today than the way their counterparts worked 50, 25, 10 or even five years ago.
Today’s Xero Partners don’t want to go digging around in client data to see what’s missing, what hasn’t been done or what seems odd.
Today’s professionals want "proactive" data. They don’t want to be simply the keepers of the numbers. In response, Xero’s new HQ is where Xero Partners can go to get all the data needed, because it covers things like:
Activity Feeds
Xero HQ is designed to improve your visibility of information and tasks across all of your Xero clients, helping you to become even more productive. Rather than spending time digging into your clients’ Xero files one at a time to see what, if anything, needs doing, the Activity Feed does the work for you. It reveals the information you need, when you need it. It prioritizes your work using the activity feed and removing the actions you don’t want to see and setup custom actions for others.

No matter where your clients originate, you’ll be able to manage all of your clients’ information from Xero HQ. Easily search for clients and view all their contact information in one place. Create new Xero organizations for clients not already on Xero.

Xero Practice Manager Link – Import clients to Xero HQ and merge if you find duplicates. Insure you’re aware of the details of your entire relationship with your clients.
Client Notes – This enable you to record pertinent information about a client and make it visible to anyone with access. You can record user notes for categorization purposes or tag a special situation. You even can pin your notes so that they always appear at the top of the list, even though the remainder of the notes appear in date order (by default).

Drill into your clients based on their industry, apps or banking partners they use. Gain better insight into how your clients work and use this to help up skill your practice and build better relationships in our eco-system.
- Industry – This shows you which industries your clients are in and which clients do not have an industry set. Easily fix a client’s missing industry associations. Industry tags directly influence the industry expertise of your practice and help prospective clients in those industries search for and find the best advisor for their business.

- Reporting – Xero’s renowned report templates functionality (I call it “outstanding”), which I have featured in no less than three articles within Insightful Accountant, will be available in Xero HQ. It will work just the same as it did within the My Xero Partner Edition.
- Advisor Directory – For practice administrators, this improved administrative tool will get leads with great marketing by keeping your listing updated on the Xero Advisor Directory.

More About Xero HQ
Xero HQ currently is being used by a select number of partners worldwide in Xero's closed beta program. The overwhelming response by Xero Partners during the beta test has helped refine and improve features based on real world feedback from practices using it everyday with real clients.
Starting Nov. 28 (2016) all Xero Partners will have the opportunity to opt-in to the new Xero HQ platform.
