Xero has announced that they will increase the cost of their 'Cashbook' subscriptions for U.S. customers. The price change will take effect March 4, 2024 at 4 PM Pacific Standard Time.
The price for 'Cashbook' subscriptions will rise by $2.00 per month per subscription. That means the price of 'Cashbook' subscriptions will go from the current $8.00 per month per subscription to $10.00 per month per subscription.
Xero Cashbook is for Accountant Partner members with clients who need Xero's automated bank feeds but don't need invoicing. With this subscription the daily bank feeds of the client's bank transactions flow directly into Cashbook. Cashbook also includes all the features of Xero Ledger. With Cashbook, an Accountant can allow clients code their own transactions as well as view their data and reports.
These changes impact only U.S. customers, and all pricing reflected is in U.S. currency. The will be reflected in all future invoices after the effective date (cited above).
If a current 'Cashbook' subscription is based upon a Xero discount or promotional code, that discount or promo pricing will be applied to the new rate going into effect on March 4, 2024, and those discounts and promotional price considerations will continue until they would otherwise expire.
If you are a Xero Accountant Partner member with multiple subscriptions, you could have 'Cashbook' subscriptions mixed with other types of Xero subscriptions, like 'Xero Ledger' or even optional Xero add-ons. The price of Xero Ledger isn't changing, nor is the price of any optional Xero add-ons.
Xero Ledger is a subscription option for accountants who have clients needing annual accounts preparation. It includes bank reconciliation, budgeting tools, fixed asset management, financial statements, and document storage in the Xero file library. Accountants can let clients view their data and reports but they can’t code transactions.
To check if you have 'Cashbook' subscriptions that will be impacted by this change you should head to "Subscriptions" in your Xero Account and check the "subscription" column for the type of each subscription.
