QuickBooks Online Accountant has just rolled out a new read-only view of your client's checking account. This makes it easy to confirm transaction details, download statements, or view other documentation online.
To find the checking account, look in the left navigation of your client view. From there, you can get a detailed overview of all transactions and activity in the account.
Why This Is Awesome
This is a great addition for a few reasons. First, it saves you from logging into your client's online banking portal whenever you need to check something.
Second, it gives you a complete overview of all transactions and activities in one place.
And third, it allows you to download statements or other documentation you may need easily.
This feature allows you to see all of your client's transactions in one place, so you can quickly identify any unusual activity. In addition, the read-only view provides an audit trail that can be used for compliance purposes.
How to Use It
To access the read-only view of your client's checking account, simply go to the left navigation of your client view and click on "Checking Account."
From there, you will be able to see all transactions and activity in the account. If you need to download a statement or other document, simply click on the "Download" button next to the appropriate transaction.
That's it. Easy peasy.
This new feature from QuickBooks Online Accountant view is very useful. No more logging into multiple banking portals—now you can do everything from one place.
