If you are experiencing issues printing W2s on pre-printed forms we are aware of the issues and working on it. Please go to Intuit Support Article # SLN89389 and sign up so you can be notified when Intuit has the problem resolved. Intuit is working on a fix for the alignment issue for the Federal W-2/W-3 forms which they expect to be available by mid-January (next week).
Please subscribe to the tech support article (link above) to receive an email once the fix is available and for instructions on how to manually download the fix (applicable if you have not opted into automatic deployment of QuickBooks updates).
Intuit is recommending that you wait to print your W-2s and W-3s; however, if you must print your W-2s or W-3s at this time, you can choose the option to Print on Blank / Perforated Paper. If you use blank paper, your employees will need to manually cut the forms into sections for their tax filing and record keeping purposes.
