To offer users actionable advice, Intuit’s Mint is updating its personal finance iOS Mint app with added benefits, new design features and data-driven MintSights™. The MintSights feature seeks to help users budget accurately, spend wisely and save, Mint said in an announcement.
“We’ve heard from users for years that they wished for an easier way to figure out what actions they should take to improve their financial health,” Intuit’s Consumer Division Vice President of Product Management Varun Krishna said in the announcement. “With this refresh, we are leveraging the rich financial data that users have shared to help create unique financial profiles and insights for each user.”
Currently, MintSights can make recommendations for 10 situations, such as consolidating debt, growing investments and creating a first budget. And the feature will grow with time to learn behavior patterns, allowing users to uncover trends and save more money. At the same time, the app will provide offers from Mint’s partners.
