The same online portal where an employee accesses their pay stubs provides access to enable them to make changes where they can manage:
- Federal and state tax withholding
- Name
- Address (within the same state)
- Date of birth
- Gender

Employees will even be able to adjust their own bank account information for direct deposit very soon.
Each small business determines which employee data can be edited by the employee by specifying their preferences for each field within payroll settings.

Every time an employee makes a change, the employer or accountant receives an email notification regarding the change. They also receive information when it is necessary to take action regarding any employees’ change information.
