QuickBooks Time allows users to track their time by project/customer or class. With enhancements to QuickBooks Online Payroll permitting users to split hourly, salary and commission pay types into multiple classes and projects, it's only natural that QuickBooks Time tracked in this manner should flow directly into QuickBooks.
Not only will class, customer/project time in QuickBooks Time be properly allocated for Elite and Premium Payroll customers, but the taxes and deductions for an employee's payroll will also be proportionally allocated. This permits payroll expense reporting to be used for proper class, project and customer tracking purposes.

Class and project data show up in the 'Run payroll' window. Users can click the "Edit classes & projects" button to review, edit or make revisions to the class or project data as required.
