Editor's Note: February's editorial focus is on Time-tracking. Here, Murph takes a look at another time-tracking app. All told, he will be unveiling up to 60 articles for products that work with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
HoneyBeeBase offers intuitive cloud-based time clock tracking. You can access HoneyBeeBase from any device with an internet connection and a browser, including desktop, tablet and smartphone. Custom settings enables you to restrict access by user, position, location or team (as needed).
Your HoneyBeeBase account includes unlimited locations. In addition, you can set up time clock rules and assign your staff to any location. You also can track location coordinates via GPS, and require mandatory clock-in and clock-out via the HoneyBeeBase apps available from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
With real-time notification, HoneyBeeBase allows you to know when your staff has started their shifts, taken a break or left at days’ end. In addition, you can customize notifications based on your business requirements.
HoneyBeeBase allows employees to submit their own time off requests for management approval. In addition, you can set up custom time-off banks to track available days and automatically adjust as days off are approved.
And HoneyBeeBase provides employee scheduling with the Shift Marketplace for easy swaps, custom templates for reoccurring schedules, notifications of shifts, and much more.
Not only can you export custom spreadsheets of hours worked and time off for payroll purposes, but you can send hours directly to QuickBooks with the HoneyBeeBase-QBO integration. The integration between HoneyBeeBase and QuickBooks online allows you to sync up your users on honeybeeBase with your employees in your QuickBooks account.
You can sync your employees’ hourly data directly to QuickBooks for payroll processing at the end of each pay period.
For more information, you will find HoneyBeeBase listed at the Intuit QuickBooks Online App Store, or at the HoneyBeeBase website.
