Intuitive Accountant strives to provide you, our QuickBooks Specialist, Accountant and Business Consultant readers with information about opportunities to serve your clients, build your practice, and bolster your compensation through this series we call ‘Advisor Alliance’. The focus of this series will always be product developers and vendors who offer some form of alliance, partnership, or referral program that might be of interest to you and your practice.
A couple of weeks back I wrote the first part of this Advisor Alliance article, in that article I reviewed the unique approach FundBox offers for resolving your receivables (or those of your clients). In this article we want to look at the FundBox Partnership Program.
More than 50% of all small businesses don't survive beyond the first year, and of those that do, 40% of that remaining number will not see the end of their 2nd year. One of the major causes of small business failure is a lack of adequate cash-flow, and the biggest single reason for inadequate cash-flow is the amount of time it takes to collect Accounts Receivable. But members of the FundBox Partnership Program will be able to offer these small businesses an innovative solution to their biggest problem - - restricted cash-flow resulting from 30, 60, 90+ day-old receivables. On average FundBox customers improve their cash availability by 40% and that can make the difference between a business failing or surviving.
Not only can you help your clients manage their cash-flow better, and help them overcome short-term cash flow gaps, but you can earn a referral fee for each client that actively uses FundBox services. Partners are entitled to either $200 or an equivalent compensation as a discount for using FundBox services, for each client they refer to FundBox that becomes a ‘qualified customer’.
As if that were not enough, Advisors can also make use of FundBox services for themselves and enjoy preferred rates. There is no cost to join the partnership program. Partners who generate sufficient customer referrals will also be entitled to a revenue-share arrangement based upon FundBox profits from those customers.
While there are no ‘formal training requirements’ for Partners, FundBox does recommend that you become completely familiar with their services; to this extent they offer a demo account and provide videos and documentation on their support website to help you get 'up to speed' in recommending FundBox.
So if you have been looking for a way to help your clients who are struggling with cash-flow issues, build your practice, and bolster your compensation, the FundBox Partnership Program maybe just the 'alliance' you have been looking for.
