Zahara actually offers two different programs that are consistent with Insightful Accountant's 'channel partner' definition. The first is their 'Advisors' program, and the second is their 'Pro Partners' program. Each program is somewhat unique and geared toward the relationship these accountants, bookkeepers, business consultants and ProAdvisors develop with Zahara.
About Zahara
Zahara is a buying platform that allows organizations to extend the functionality of their accounting software by adding approval processes for purchase requests and invoices. You can create a purchase request, have it authorized and sent onto the supplier(s). You can then take delivery and receipt of orders easily. Accounts then record the invoice to match it against the order with all of the information needed right without any paperwork. Zahara's reporting and analysis allows you to see who's buying what and from who, meaning more control and more visibility of spend. Departmental and Project budgets mean you can also track spend down to the smallest detail.
Zahara provides advisors with a unique opportunity to deliver more value for their clients. With Zahara, Advisors can help their clients to:
- Set and control budgets
- Manage suppliers
- Enforce contract pricing and volume discounts
- Raise purchase requisitions
- Handle multi-level approvals
- Automate supplier invoice reconciliation and approvals
- Integrate into most SMB accounting software.

Partner Options
The Zahara Advisors program allows Advisors/Accountants to refer their clients to Zahara and to share discounts with their clients. Advisors are providing a referral, while Zahara provides product demonstrations and marketing support. As such, there is no product related certification for Advisors in Zahara. Advisors typically share a 10% discount with their clients, and there is no cost for Advisors to participate in the program.
The Pro Partners program is designed for cloud accountants or ‘Pro-advisors’ (who have professional service offerings), Zahara allows these ‘Pro Partners’ to charge PS fees for implementation and training, as well as receive a discount on the monthly fees. Pro Partners will act as resellers of the Zahara platform, they sign up based on monthly/annual fees and receive training and second-line support. They receive up to 30% commissions on their Zahara customer sales.
