Last month, Knowify, a construction-industry App developer, and Intuit entered into a sales and referral agreement in which they will work together to introduce construction companies to the SaaS solutions Knowify offers that work with QuickBooks Online Advanced and QuickBooks Online. One of Knowify's Apps is geared toward residential contractors while the other is designed for specialty contractors.
Knowify was one of the first Apps designed for small construction clients when they started integrating with QuickBooks. Since their initial release they took time to listen to their contractor clients as well as QuickBooks ProAdvisors who were working with those contractors in managing their QuickBooks. Knowify also worked closely with Intuit to make certain that their integrations were among the best with regard to how data flowed between the two applications.
Over the years their construction clients have evolved in terms of the work being performed and the size of their construction companies has grown. In light of the customer evolution, the Knowify developers identified the need to not only expand and enhance their offerings, but bring on board additional features and tools for contractors by enhancing integration capabilities with QuickBooks Online-Advanced. And that's why, as part of their recent agreement with Intuit, Knowify will continue to make certain that they are bringing a best-in-class solution to the growing construction industry.
All of this has, and will continue to make, Knowify one of the ProAdvisors' number one 'go to construction apps' on the Intuit App Store when looking for a solution for small construction clients. And why wouldn't it, when Knowify has so many features, functions, and integrations to offer?
Knowify offers:
- CRM and proposals including lead management and quoting with custom templates.
- Project costing for materials, labor (via time tracking), subcontractors, and equipment. As well as related profitability reporting.
- Project management including scheduling, Gannt charts, purchasing, subcontractor mgmt., document mgmt., submittals and RFIs, change orders, and more.
- Mobile communication including field/office interaction with geo-location tools.
- Flexible and robust invoicing methods, including progress invoicing, pay apps for commercial work, schedule of values, and more. Whether you bill fixed price or time and materials, Knowify can handle it.
- All the other tools you need to run your contracting business.
Many of these are features and functions you find only in construction subscription-software packages that cost hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars more than Knowify.
If all of this sounds too good to be true, you should know that Knowify also offers integration with QuickBooks Desktop, not just QuickBooks Online versions. Now how is that for a plus? You should also know that you can integrate it with QuickBooks Time (formerly known as TSheets), along with several other 3rd-party Apps and software solutions.
Please remember, this is just an 'App Aware' article, not a First Look Friday feature, so we are not here to give you a comprehensive review of Knowify. We simply wanted to make you aware of this valuable construction software, and the recent 'agreement' they entered into with Intuit. So, if you find yourself itching to 'hit the nail on the head' and learn more about Knowify, then you can either head over to the Knowify website, or surf to their Intuit App Store Landing Page.
