APP AWARE: Xooa

Xooa is a recently-added App from the Intuit QuickBooks App Center, which allows you to store your QuickBooks data in their Blockchain. After a QuickBooks user connects their QuickBooks Company to this App, Using the QuickBooks API, it then registers web-hooks from QuickBooks. These web-hooks are triggered whenever data within the associated QuickBooks Company is created or modified, the App retrieves a copy of the data and stores it in the Xooa blockchain platform.

So, you may want to know what the Xooa blockchain is?  Xooa is reportedly the easiest way to develop, test, run, and monitor blockchain Apps. It includes an automated deployment environment, GitHub integration, ready-baked connectors for popular cloud services and more. Xooa lets individuals rapidly add an immutable ledger or a consensus-based transaction environment to your IOT/M2M, financial services, enterprise software, and cybersecurity solutions. The ledger can run entirely on the cloud or hybrid: add external peers at any time to maintain replicas of your data on your premises and on your terms. They advertise themselves as "rewriting the cost-benefit equation for blockchain, making blockchain practicable for any developer in many more coding scenarios, with no smoke and mirrors, just a quick, robust, distributed, and immutable ledger – for free."

So, what about your data once it is in the Xooa blockchain? can then be accessed using REST APIs or a web interface from the Xooa blockchain platform web console.

You might be wondering 'what then' can you do with the data?  Well, one example that Xooa provides is via a 'Zapier' integration. Xooa shows you how you can sign-up for a free Zapier account, and from there how you can connect Zapier to Xooa for purposes of creating Zaps that can use your QBO data.

You may wonder who owns the data you store in the Xooa blockchain? You, or the QuickBooks Company file owner, own the rights to the data that is stored from the QuickBooks file (data) in the Xooa blockchain. Even though you may at some future time elect to discontinue or terminate your Xooa agreement, technological limitations preclude the complete removal of all data from the Xooa servers.
