Editor's Note: February's editorial focus is on Time-tracking. Here, Murph takes a look at another time-tracking app. All told, he will be unveiling up to 60 articles for products that work with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
Atto is a simple time-tracking app for small businesses. Whether you are in the office, on the move or at a job site, time-tracking has never been easier.
Accurately track time from any device based on your location and requirement. For example, you can use the Atto web-based dashboard, its mobile app (iOS or Android) or even the Atto time clock kiosk.
Just tap the pulsing button to start tracking your time, push the button again when your day is done and your hours will turn into timesheets automatically. You can even track time toward specific job codes, add notes or post break times.
Atto also enables you to track overtime. You can determine if it should be calculated weekly, daily or daily double-time. In addition, you can manage your time off—including vacation and sick leave—which will help you and your managers schedule employee work time more accurately.
Mobile GPS tracking helps ensure everyone is safe, productive and in the right place, at the right time. The location tracking turns off as soon as an individual clocks out of the app.
With Atto, you can instantly find out who’s on the clock, who's on break and who hasn’t shown up for work yet (or is enjoying some time off). The GPS tracking will give you real-time updates on your team’s location.
Atto integrates with QuickBooks Online to help you track your team’s time and manage your business with accurate and reliable data. During the initial integration process, you can sync your QuickBooks employees to Atto for time-tracking purposes.
In the future, you can add or remove employees with the click of a button. After that, employee timesheets are calculated automatically within the app and synced to QuickBooks Online in real-time.
You will find Atto listed in the QuickBooks Online App Center here.
For more information, head over to its website. While you're there, you may want to consider its 14-day free (no credit card required) trial offer.
