To provide a simplified and improved experience for customers, the Account Overview page in the Avalara Portal has been redesigned. The new Portal changes, which were released on February 18, 2025, include
- The Account > Overview tab has been consolidated into a for a cleaner, more organized experience.
- New Usage Visualization that clearly distinguishes between usage within parameters and excess usage; Customers will no longer need to dig around for this—it’s now front and center.
- Transaction usage detail filters and downloads: Customers can now filter and create their own customized usage reports for download on demand.
- Current Balance Card Consolidation in which Avalara moved the Open invoices, Paid invoices, Subscriptions, and Payment methods behind the current balance card so as to retain accessibility while reducing some visual clutter.
- Significantly easier to manage and review open invoices.
- Avalara has surfaced the billing contacts for customer visibility.
- It’s now easier to add a bank, add a payment type, change default payment options, and set up automatic payments.
- Avalara has unburied Account user management and AvaTax company management, making them directly accessible from the Account Overview screen.
