OneSaas is an application developer who strives to ensure that the apps their customers use to run their business work together with other solutions through high-quality business data integrations. They help you connect your business apps to automate your business across accounting, Ecommerce, billing & invoicing, CRM, fulfillment, inventory management and email marketing.
OneSaas delivers financial efficiency and quality that cannot be replicated by other platforms or by apps building, maintaining and supporting their own native integrations. OneSaas takes pride in developing apps that little technical knowledge to set-up and use, simply connect the app, set how you want your data shared, and the app will do the rest.
While I first became acquainted with OneSass in terms of their apps for Ecommerce, they now offer apps that perform additional functions to expand connectivity with QuickBooks Online. For example they offer QBO to CRM connectivity for both Salesforce and ZohoCRM. They also offer email marketing integration via mailchimp.
Another unique app they offer provides connectivity between QBO and FreshBooks. So you might wonder why anyone would want to 'sync' data between QBO and FreshBooks? Personally I see this as a great way to 'import' FreshBooks data into a new QBO file giving someone like a ProAdvisor the maximum of control over the flow of the accounting information when beginning a QuickBooks Online subscription from scratch for a new client.
At present OneSass has 7 different E-commerce App Connectors (Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, eBay, Magento, OpenCart) listed at the Intuit App Center. These Apps share common fundamentals regardless of the specific E-commerce platform they’re connected to, including:
- Connecting your E-commerce platform and QuickBooks Online to completely automate your accounting. Prevents the need to manually enter invoices, customers or products.
- Instantly track your sales revenue in QBO. When a customer places an order on your E-commerce store, the invoice (complete with taxes and any discounts) is automatically created in QuickBooks Online.
- The customer is automatically created in QBO when an order is placed; if the details have changed, they’re updated.
- Stock levels are updated in QuickBooks Online when an order is placed; if you update stock levels in QBO, they’re automatically updated in your platform.
- Adding a product on your platform automatically adds a product in QBO; any updates to the product are also passed to QBO.
Now let's look a little closer at one of these apps because I don't have time (or space) to give you details about each and every one, so I will go a little more in-depth into the Shopify by OneSaas App. However, since the concepts are similar among all of the other Ecommerce Apps by OneSass you should get a pretty good idea from this one review with respect to the other Apps.
Shopify by OneSaas
Connect Shopify and QuickBooks Online and completely automate your accounting. Never manually enter invoices, customers or products again. OneSaas for Shopify automates all data related to your quotes, orders, invoices, payments and receipts, including all line items, related products, stock updates and customer details.
Once you connect your QuickBooks Online Company to synchronize with your Shopify Store to automatically sync every hour you will want to set-up the workflows related to what your business needs. These really define how the App will work for you in terms of how your business itself actually performs the steps of order processing and fulfillment.

You will also want to specify how invoices are created in QBO for your Shopify store orders. To do this you will configure things like the tax codes, payment status, payment account(s) assignment and if you want to create invoices only for orders with a specific order status that you’ve set in contrast to 'all orders'.

You must also configure your Shopify payouts as QuickBooks Deposits, this is a fairly simple process that involves assigning the appropriate QuickBooks Deposit to account for each Shopify related Payment Method associated with payouts. (Note in the example shown here the user has chose to assign all of the accounts to the QBO 'Undeposited Funds' account, they can then use the QuickBooks deposit feature to make deposits into their selected bank account(s) from Undeposited funds. You may choose to configure your accounts differently depending upon your own situation.)

Users need to also define how they want their items to default within QuickBooks Online when creating new products in the Shopify Store rather than simply matching to existing items within QuickBooks via QuickBooks Item Name or SKU. You will also configure the default accounts for these items, of course you can change accounts at any time within QBO should the need arise, remember these are simply default settings.

One of the most important features of integration utilities like this is the ability to update 'stock levels' between the two systems... you need to be able to determine how you want those updates to be controlled. So the final step in the configuration process is to set your preferences related to updates when stock levels change in QBO.

Once you have gone through this process and gotten your Ecommerce store linked-up with QuickBooks Online via OneSaas you will save hours of work in what had been the manual transfer of orders, payments, deposits, customers, stock and inventory quantities.
Now that you have OneSaas for Shopify configured you should be up and running and you start getting orders flowing between Shopify, OneSaas and QuickBooks Online. You can open OneSaas and then go to your OneSaas dashboard and then look for the Data->Transactions section and look for one or more orders you know are in your Ecommerce store (as shown below).

If you search you should be able to find a specific order and you should then be able to click on that order to get the details with links that will take you directly to where it has posted in QuickBooks Online.
OneSaas Apps in the QuickBooks App Center
As I mentioned earlier there are a number of OneSaas Apps and most of them are available in the QuickBooks App Center (although OneSaas does develop some Apps for Xero too). Their Apps presently in the App Center that show up in a search, at the time of this publication, are shown below along with the App Center 'rating' (stars) but we have included the URL links to all their App Center landing pages.
