FreshBooks, cloud-based accounting software designed for small service-based businesses, has introduced their new Accountant Center designed to help accountants and their clients connect and streamline the flow of data between them. For accountants with clients using FreshBooks, the new 'Accountant Center' will provide a secure portal allowing them to view all of their clients' financial data, run reports, and improve back-n-forth consulting in real-time.
In their press release, FreshBooks announced, "The new portal provides accountants with a comprehensive view of their FreshBooks clients’ financial data. Accountants can now run reports such as Profit & Loss, Tax Summary and Journal Entries, and help monitor the health of their clients’ business while offering strategic guidance in real-time." Mike McDerment, CEO and cofounder of FreshBooks said, “With FreshBooks Accountant Center, accountants have access to all of the data they need about their small business clients – saving them time and giving them confidence that they have the most up-to-date information on their business.”
Starting today the FreshBooks Account Center is available to FreshBooks users and their accountants, there is no cost to accoutants or FreshBooks users for the new feature. For more information see the FreshBooks Accountant Center website.
