Editor's Note: February's editorial focus is on Time-tracking. Here, Murph takes a look at another time-tracking app. All told, he will be unveiling up to 60 articles for products that work with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
HoursLogger is a simple way for consultants, freelancers and solopreneurs to track their hours and get paid. You can easily track your time and generate detailed invoices with a single click. Designed for users who are not interested in all the extras that come with other solutions, HoursLogger makes life simple.
You can run HoursLoggers on your desktop, laptop, tablet or phone without having to download anything or even install any extra app. Just log-in to HoursLogger.com to track your time. Its intuitive workflows turn time into invoices.

With the Plus Version of HoursLogger, you can sync with QuickBooks Online. Initially, when you connect HoursLogger to QBO, you will sync your customers and service items from QBO to HoursLogger. Then you can track your time in HoursLogger and sync that time with QuickBooks Online.
When you sync time from HoursLogger to QBO, your time will show up in your Weekly Timesheets in QuickBooks Online. From QBO Weekly Timesheets, you can turn the time into QuickBooks Payroll or Invoices.
Alternatively, you can create Invoices in HoursLogger from your recorded time, and then sync those Invoices to QBO. Using this method, the invoice will show up in your QuickBooks Sales and be ready to send to your customer.
