MineralTree Strengthens Intacct Integration, Enhancing Invoice-to-Pay Process for Joint Customers
Additional Features Further Ease Accounts Payable and Payment Automation with Intacct’s Cloud ERP Software
MineralTree, an accounts payable (AP) and payment automation solution for growing companies, recently announced that it has strengthened integration with Intacct to provide increased functionality for users of the cloud-based ERP and accounting software. MineralTree Invoice-to-Pay now supports even more of Intacct’s powerful features, such as its dimensions capability, multi-entity management, and support for intercompany transfers. In addition, the enhanced integration also includes support for electronic invoice capture to eliminate the time-consuming and error-prone manual entry of invoices.
“Companies choose Intacct because it offers an exceptionally scalable and customizable option for online accounting. This tighter technical integration between MineralTree Invoice-to-Pay and Intacct further extends those benefits throughout an organization,” said BC Krishna, founder and CEO of MineralTree. “With enhanced support for Intacct, our joint customers have a unified system to handle accounting, accounts payable, and payment execution, while improving financial efficiency and security in the process.”
MineralTree Invoice-to-Pay supplements Intacct’s built-in functionality with advanced invoice and payment processing capabilities. Thanks to a seamless bi-directional integration, data automatically flows between the two systems in real time. Bills entered into Intacct sync automatically with MineralTree Invoice-to-Pay so they can be routed through configurable invoice approval processes that adapt to a company’s workflow. Executives and others within an organization that need to approve payments can do so through the simple and mobile-friendly interface of MineralTree Invoice-to-Pay.
In addition, MineralTree Invoice-to-Pay integrates directly with a company’s bank to eliminate the need for a clearing account. This enables payments to be executed directly, which improves security and gives an accounting department full control over cash flow and the timing of payments.
“On its own, the accounts payable and overall payments process can be very complex and differs at every company,” said Scott Lumish, VP of Business Development at Intacct. “MineralTree has developed a nice solution to these problems and integrating it more closely with our platform is a real value-add for our customers. Intacct has always been about helping companies operate more efficiently, and our partnership with MineralTree is one more way we’re doing just that.”
Companies using MineralTree Invoice to Pay to approve and submit payments benefit from being able to follow the same common process for all invoices, versus following different workflows based on the payment type. For example, companies are frequently forced into different workflows when paying by check than they would use for electronic ACH payments. Throughout the invoice approval and payment process, companies using MineralTree Invoice-to-Pay also gain advanced payment controls, including segregation of duties and dual approvals. They also enjoy security features such as two-factor verification codes, positive pay, and a $100,000 annual payment protection from MineralTree SilverGuard.
By mirroring Intacct features such as dimensions and multi-entity management within MineralTree Invoice-to-Pay, organizations can follow standard payment workflows, improve security, and leverage the innovative capabilities of both products while knowing that they always have the most accurate and up-to-date data at their fingertips.
