Corrigo and Intuit have announced changes that will impact the partner program associated with Intuit Field Service Management (IFSM), including the related certification/testing. Intuit Field Service Management powered by Corigo is a cloud-based work order scheduling, dispatching, and invoicing application for QuickBooks Online & Desktop. It provides Mobile GPS, Signatures, Inventory, Payment and Payroll integration. Equipment Service Data recorded within the application improves first-time fix rates. The application is designed to be especially beneficial for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and repair. Inventory management features include integration with ‘Advanced Inventory’ functionality when using QuickBooks Enterprise.
Under the changes to the Partner Program Corrigo has assumed full responsibility for the IFSM certification program. Certification tests previously available through the Intuit Reseller Program will now be available through ExamBuilder, a cloud hosted online testing and reporting system that provides access to certification testing even when working remotely or outside standard office hours. Intuit and Corrigo decided to make these changes so that the certification testing process associated with the partner program is easier to administer and track.
Intuit Resellers and ProAdvisors will have the opportunity to complete certification training and testing so as to distinguish themselves as ‘Certified IFSM Resellers or ProAdvisors’. Two levels of certification will be available. The initial level “Intuit Field Service Management Certified Reseller/ProAdvisor” is focused on product training and sales skills and resources relative to making and closing the sale. The second level “Intuit Field Service Management Certified Professional” provides an in-depth product knowledge and is focused on product implementation, and includes areas like setup, synchronization, and troubleshooting. Certification badges will be addressed in a future announcement.
Both certifications are one of the requirements to be recognized as a Local Expert Partner for Intuit Field Service Management. Current IFSM Certificate holders are being asked to complete the new certifications by June 30, 2016, in order to insure they are up-to-date on the latest product changes.
Shortly after the start of the New Year, Corrigo will begin a new round of IFSM training, at NO cost to IRPs or ProAdvisors. The live on-line (one-hour) webinars will be conducted over six consecutive Tuesdays beginning on January 12, 2016.
