Intuit has agreed to acquire KDK Softwares, an Indian-based company that provides professional tax solutions. Established in 2003 and based in Jaipur, India, KDK Softwares provides software solutions to 20,000 practicing accountants, effectively serving 1 in 5 practicing Chartered Accountants in the country.
The acquisition sets the stage for Intuit to deliver tax solutions around the globe, and further its strategy to become the global small business operating system. Furthermore, the addition of KDK Softwares builds on the QuickBooks small business ecosystem offering in India, providing a seamless and collaborative tax filing solution for Indian SMB’s.
