Intuit's new QuickBooks Live 'Tax' service will help small businesses prepare and file taxes from within QuickBooks using TurboTax Live experts. This new service for small businesses is designed to provide a seamless books-to-tax experience inside QuickBooks, including preparing and filing 2023 taxes through unlimited access to live experts.
Last year, Intuit introduced TurboTax Live for Business, offering tax prep and filing services with TurboTax Live Experts to small businesses. Intuit recognized that many of the small businesses taking advantage of TurboTax Live for Business were also QuickBooks Online subscribers.
The new QuickBooks Live 'Tax' offering will allowed these same customers to gain the benefits of professional assistance at tax time. That's why QuickBooks Live Tax has been designed for QuickBooks Online customers, including U.S.-based small businesses like Sole Proprietors, Single-member LLCs, S Corporations, Partnerships, and Multi-member LLCs.
QuickBooks Live Tax services will be provided via TurboTax experts who have experience and knowledge in business taxes. These TurboTax experts will have experience in businesses that can help partnerships (Form 1065), S Corporations (Form 1120S), or Multi-Member LLCs, as well as self-employed business owners who need to file personal taxes and Schedule C.
These TurboTax experts will reportedly have an average of 16 years of experience. Once a small business is connected to a business tax expert, they’ll be able to see their specific credentials and experience.
Costs for Intuit's QuickBooks Live 'Tax' service will vary by the exact type of entity and service performed. Charges for the new service start at $169, and payment is required when taxes are filed.
