Sage announces 'on line' Accountant and Partner Product Versions

Last week's 2016 Sage Summit served as the announcement platform for a wide variety of new and updated Sage products.  Among those were two integrated cloud-based accounting and practice management solutions, Sage Live for Accountants, and Sage One Partner Edition.

Sage Live for Accountants (U.S.)

Sage Live for Accountants provides a single real-time source of information to enable firms to boost productivity and improve performance.

Sage Live for Accountants:

  • Allows efficiencies to be unlocked by reducing the time spent on low value processes and tasks
  • Enables practices to track, analyze and manage their financial performance and workflow through one integrated solution
  • Empowers firms to redefine the way they work through mobility and enhanced collaboration.

“The next generation of accountants are digital natives who expect insights and information in a real-time, on-demand and always-on environment,” said Jennifer Warawa, Executive Vice President, Product Marketing. “Sage Live for Accountants enables accountants to have an instant, end-to-end view of their firm.”

Sage Live for Accountants is presently available in the United States. (The product is scheduled for a Fall release in Canada.)

Sage One Partner Edition (U.S.)

Sage also introduced Sage One Partner Edition to serve sole-traders, entrepreneurs and micro-businesses. The new edition makes it simple for accountants to on-board clients to Sage One, manage their billing and then work with them in real-time, providing additional services as they grow.

Benefits include:

  • The ability to on-board hundreds of clients quickly and easily to Sage One;
  • View critical practice and individual client data at the touch of a button, in real-time;
  • Grant practice colleagues’ different levels of access to client information; and
  • Produce sets of accounts and tax returns in minutes.

What else can Sage One Partner Edition allow you to do:

  • Get your clients online with Sage One Start, Accounting or Payroll – one at a time, or in batches using our new import tool;
  • Connect to their data in real time, from anywhere (based on user role permissions);
  • Accountants only – produce accounts and tax returns using our amazing connected Apps
  • Work with your colleagues – with multi-user capability and role-based access rights;
