Editor's Note: February's editorial focus is on Time-tracking. Here, Murph takes a look at another time-tracking app. All told, he will be unveiling up to 60 articles for products that work with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
Timeero is GPS-based time and mileage tracking that lets you schedule your personnel for construction, field service, franchises, and other businesses. Timeero provides improved insights into how and where your employees are spending their time.
With Timeero, you can track time automatically using its geofencing feature. Using the same app, you also can track employee overtime, breaks and leave hours.
The Timeero web and mobile apps (for iOS or Android) enable your employees to clock in and out from any location. The Timeero Terminal is a tablet kiosk app that allows multiple crews and employees to track time from a central location.
Although employees are given a four-digit PIN to clock in and out, you can eliminate buddy-punching by using facial recognition.
Timeero is used by businesses of all sizes to track areas like employee time, location, mileage scheduling, and more. For example, with Timeero GPS employee location tracking, you can get a timeline-trail of where everyone is or has been.
Its GPS feature also tracks employee mileage on the go, which means you will know the distance travelled for each route. Mileage reports easily can be generated along with the time taken for each trip.
If you manage a mobile workforce, you know how hard it is to keep up with who’s working, where they are, and how long they’ve been on the job. With Timeero, you can see where everyone is and what they are doing.
And connecting Timeero to QuickBooks Online is simple. Once you make the initial connection, your customers can be imported from QBO to Timeero and mapped to jobs. In addition, you can import your employees and match them up to be ready for payroll time tracking.
Exporting timesheets and mileage to QuickBooks is easy. Run a payroll report and hit the Export to QuickBooks option to send timesheets and mileage.
You will find Timeero listed in the QuickBooks Online App Center.
In addition, you can head over to the Timeero webpage to request a demo or start a free (no credit card required) trial.
