I can't call this Valentine's day without a little something from TSheets – after all, it has a heart in its logo.
But on subject, TSheets has done it again. No, I'm not talking about hosting of one of those "wildest parties on the planet." I’m talking about enhancing an otherwise already great feature – Scheduling.
Last week, yes I know that I'm late writing about this, (but I have an excuse, I was attending the Woodard-All Companies retreat) TSheets announced the release of its improved scheduling feature, which now offers locations.
This means TSheets scheduling not only allows employees to know when they work, but where they work. (OK, so scheduling is an option, get over it. Just add it already.)
TSheets Scheduling w Location
Now you can schedule your employees to work at specific locations, including places like the boss' swimming pool, or a specific intersection like Boardwalk and Park Place Avenue. You can even add an exact street address like 1209 Anywhere Lane, which just happens to be the address of its next big party.
When employees see the location on their schedule within the TSheets App, they simply tap the location to automatically load a map with driving directions from their present location to their place of work.
Hey Matt, do you think TSheets could build in the message, “Don’t pass Go. Don’t collect $200” into those directions?
I figure if your employees can somehow manage to get lost with this type of directional leadership in the palm of their hand, clock them out. On the other hand, if they can find their way through all the road work, detours, traffic tie ups and driving nightmares, perhaps they do deserve to collect that $200.
If you or your clients already are using the new TSheets Scheduling feature with Locations, let us know how you like it. We’re certain your fellow readers would love to review your comments.
