New ProAdvisor Badges 201609
The badges, which will be available for download early September in the ProAdvisor Member Center, can be added to websites, email signatures and marketing materials.
In anticipation of a lot of questions concerning the new badges, The ProAdvisor Program provided the following FAQ (frequently asked question) materials, so that you could get your questions and concerns answered directly from the Program.
Why are you changing the badges?
Becoming a Certified ProAdvisor is an important distinction for small businesses seeking a QuickBooks expert. In our continued efforts to drive connections between business owners and accounting professionals, we redesigned our certification badges to better reflect your accomplishment and differentiate your practice in the Find-a-ProAdvisor Directory.
These badges are fresh and modern and match the overall QuickBooks look and feel.
What’s different about the new badges?
Improved visual quality – The crisp new design looks great on your business card or website. Also, the new badges scale to a small version on the Find-a-ProAdvisor Directory so that they stand out even on small screens.
Better communicate your achievement – ProAdvisors has told us that getting certified is a badge of honor, and our new design reflects that. Plus, the updated color scheme enables you to display your product expertise at a glance.
Fresh and modern look – The clean new visuals are more appealing to clients seeking a trusted advisor for today’s business needs.
When are they changing?
The new badges will be available in early September.

Once the badges are available, small businesses and other prospective clients also will start seeing the new versions in Find-a-ProAdvisor and other QuickBooks marketing sites.
We encourage you to update your badges quickly, especially in your digital channels (website, social, email signature), to maintain consistency with what small businesses and potential customers will be seeing on Intuit communications and the Find-a-ProAdvisor Directory.

What is certification and why should I get certified?
Certification is one of the best ways to show existing clients the depth of your expertise – and to earn distinctions that will attract new clients. After passing the QuickBooks Online Certification exam, you become a Certified ProAdvisor, receive your badge, and be eligible for a listing on the Find-a-ProAdvisor directory, which is searched by 700,000-plus small businesses each year. Don’t worry, we provide self-paced and live training resources to get you ready for the exam.

Is “QuickBooks” in written form now “quickbooks”?
