Toronto based ShiftHub, raised $5 million and announced an integration with Square aimed at boosting productivity for millions of small business owners.
ShiftHub is a Toronto-based workforce management firm offering one of the better solutions for businesses looking to modernize their time card and scheduling software, according to Chad Halvorson, CEO of When I Work.
The $5 million in funding came from E.ventures, Greycroft Partners and Arthur Ventures. All three have invested in the company previously.
Lastly, the Square integration was built to help save business owners time and eliminate repetitive back-office tasks by enabling them to conveniently sync time records, payroll data, and employee data between the When I Work Scheduling and Attendance and Square. The integration is live and can be implemented instantly-no IT required. By enabling the integration,business owners who use Square and When I Work Scheduling and Attendance will be able to allow their employees to clock in using either system, and automatically sync time entries, locations and positions, and employee names and emails.
