We have previously told you about Xero HQ, the preferred platform for accountants and bookkeepers who use Xero as their cloud-based General Ledger of choice. It's designed to serve as the hub for their practices, and staff members, affording them better coordination and streamlined access and integration to their clients files and Apps.

Sometime back Xero also introduced their virtual assistant for Xero HQ simply called 'Ask' to help manage client queries.

Well the question becomes, "why not combine 'Xero HQ' and 'Ask' with a 'chat bot' to maximize efficiency and simply make life more interesting."
Sure enough, today Xero has announced a partnership with Google Cloud for the launch of Hangouts Chat which is an intelligent and secure collaboration tool in G Suite that not only will help to bring all the players together, but make it easy to facilitate a team approach.
From direct messages to group conversations, this new Chat provides a centralized, integrated experience that will make teams more efficient than ever. The new tool streamlines communication, helping users focus on the work. Connecting seamlessly with other G Suite apps, Chat enables users to quickly find messages and files.
The platform makes use of Google’s artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities as well as those of third-party apps and bots, like Xero’s. Users of the Chat platform can easily manage compliance and ensure the safety and security of data for any size firm or business.
