Editor's Note: February's editorial focus is on Time-tracking. Here, Murph takes a look at another time-tracking app. All told, he will be unveiling up to 60 articles for products that work with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
Ximble is a powerful and flexible time tracking software from Paycor. Its time clock software makes employee timekeeping easy. However, it would be best to have confidence in your timesheets—its various time tracking options help you collect timesheets you can trust.
Using Ximble, error-free timesheet data is created when an employee clocks in or out from their shift, removing any need for manual editing. Managers can quickly review, approve and process timesheets in seconds within the time clock software. So whether they are in the office or on the move, it only takes a few clicks.
With the time clock app, it is easy to see who's clocked in, from where and when. In addition, real-time data provides a clear indication of who's working at any location, regardless of your location. With these insights, employees can be managed smarter to maximize productivity with the team managers available.
- Choose your preferred method for staff to clock in and out—whether browser, mobile or time clock—by PIN or biometric identification.
- Employees can clock in and out instantly. Even if there are large groups clocking in and out simultaneously, it is simple for employees to start and end their days without delay.
- Ximble's time-tracking can record location, so you know where remote clock-ins occur. Keeping timesheet data accurate and honest across sites is simple with a team in place, on time, every time.
- From capturing worked hours to employee payments, workflow is optimized for efficiency, cutting administrative costs and margin of error.
- Hold employees more accountable and reduce tardiness and absenteeism with our time clock app. It is proven to boost attendance and punctuality by 70%.
- Ximble is an employee self-service portal supporting shift swaps, open shift pickups and time-off requests. In addition, employees can log in to access their schedules, giving them more freedom in the scheduling process. That means you will spend less time scheduling and more time on business.
- Actionable and powerful reports allow businesses and organizations to monitor employee hours and associated costs closely. Ximble's custom reports include detailed oversight and scheduling statistics on workforce performance.
If you have QuickBooks Online, you will connect to Ximble. Once connected, you will be able to transfer data between the two platforms. After the initial connection, you can sync Timesheets to QBO and sync employee information from QBO to Ximble.
But it would help if you made sure that everything is configured correctly before syncing employee data.
If you are using QuickBooks Desktop, you can export payroll data from Ximble to there. There are several steps involved in this process that go beyond the summary nature of this article. We recommend visiting with a Ximble representative to discuss your integration requirements.
Ximble also is listed in the QuickBooks Desktop App Center here.
In addition, you can find out more about Ximble at its Support Center website.
