For QuickBooks ProAdvisors, the ‘recertification’ window will open May 1 with a June 30 target date in which to complete the examination(s) for your level of certification ‘Core’ or ‘Advanced’.
Any ProAdvisor who was ‘certified’ or ‘recertified’ prior to November 1, 2023 must complete recertification before June 30, 2024.
Intuit will begin offering webinar-based ‘Recertification’ training for ProAdvisors covering both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Online Advanced on Tuesday, May 7th.
Recertification works a little differently this year, all ProAdvisors should take the QBO Recertification Session 1: Exam Prep Training that covers the contents of the ‘core’ exam. This session focuses on the new and enhanced features in QBO including COA templates, QBO Ledger, QB Bill Pay and more. It also reviews updates to QuickBooks Time and Payroll.
Advanced certified ProAdvisors should then take the QBO Recertification Session 2: Advanced Exam Prep Training. This session builds upon the content in Session 1 and dives deeper into QBO Plus and QBO Advanced. Reporting enhancements and 1099 preparation updates are part of the training content.
The two May 7 sessions will be ‘live’ webinars offering 1.5 CPE for each session.
QBO Recertification Session 1: Exam Prep Training - 12:00 PM CDST May 7, 2024
QBO Recertification Session 2: Advanced Exam Prep Training – 1:30 PM CDST May 7, 2024
The two recertification webinars will be repeated on May 14th, and May 21st.
In addition, Intuit will offer a QBO Recertification ‘Virtual Conference’ on May 22, 2024, which combines both sessions under a single registration. More about the 'VCon' Here.
