Want to know the features common to Accounting Apps like Accounting Suite, FreshBooks, Odoo Standard, QuickBooks Desktop Pro, QuickBooks Online Plus, Patriot Accounting, Sage 50, Xero Established, Zoho Books, and others?
How about the fundamental differences between these Accounting Apps?
What about the Pros and Cons of each of these apps?
And how about an independent ranking of these Accounting Solutions on an easy-to-understand scale performed by someone you know and hopefully respect? Not a ranking by one app vendor or some vendor paying to have themselves ranked against another.
These are precisely the questions I will strive to answer and the information I will attempt to provide at this month's Future Forward Event on May 21-22, 2024. During Future Forward, I will present two one-hour sessions focusing on solutions for migrating from QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Premier.
The first session on May 21, 2024, at 2:30 PM Central Daylight Time will cover Migrating from QuickBooks Pro/Pro-plus. To cover that topic in an hour, I will compare the key features of QuickBooks Pro/Pro-plus with various products that I feel are best suited to manage the needs of most QB Pro users. I will also contrast those features so you can identify for yourselves those that might not be 'as suitable' as the others.
I will also give you critical 'Pros' and 'Cons' to help you further refine your choices to no more than three options. By attending the session, you will have the opportunity to answer a polling question and request a copy of the App Comparison document I've been preparing just for the topic of migrating from QuickBooks Pro to an alternative.
I know what you are thinking. I mentioned Intuit QuickBooks Online in my opening question above. That's right; this webinar isn't about looking solely at non-Intuit solutions but the best alternatives to QuickBooks Pro. For some individuals, the best alternative might be transitioning to one of several versions of QuickBooks Online; in other cases, it might be transitioning to QuickBooks Enterprise, although that will be a long stretch for most QuickBooks Pro users.
But yes, in other cases, a QuickBooks Pro user may need or want to migrate to an accounting solution from a developer other than Intuit. That's why I will present the type of comparisons made available to you as part of Future Forward.
In my second session on May 22, 2024, at 2:30 PM Central Daylight Time, I will cover Migrating from QuickBooks Premier/Premier-plus. This session will differ from the one above in that we will look at the key features that make QuickBooks Premier different from QuickBooks Pro. After we identify those features that most users of QuickBooks Premier either chose or upgraded to Premier for, we will compare those features to a variety of products that may meet the users' requirements either on their own or in combination with an add-on, like Payroll.
Similarly, I will contrast the various apps I've chosen so you can see those that either can't do everything QB Premier makes available or rely on plug-in functionality, like Payments or Inventory. I will also include my list of Pros and Cons and relative rankings of the various apps to help you pick the three best to explore for your situation.
Once again, session participants can sign up for my Premier Migration App Comparison during one of the CPE Polling Questions.
In closing this feature, I want to make it clear that I won't be trying to sell or recommend any single product. My job is to inform you, give you key data regarding the various accounting apps discussed, and let you know what I think about each app regarding my pros and cons and a relative ranking.
From there, you can sign up for more information as you determine what best fits your need(s).
I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming Future Forward Event.
